Waterlelies (Water Lilies)

For these water lilies I used different sizes of knives in one lino for the first time- the large leaves with their wonderful wonkyness work better in rough cutting, but the tiny thready roots floating on the surface I cut with the thinnest knive. I really love the shapes of the leaves, standing up in different manners. For the ink I mixed a darker green with a very bright one. Linoprint works wonderful for rendering duckweed as well, with the tiny specks of white turning up here and there, just like the real thing.
